Millennium Residences organized our second fire drill of the year 2021 for all personnel 

In order to co-op with the National Fire Drill Day on November 9th, Millennium Residences organized our second fire drill of the year for all personnel. We must ensure our team can handle the incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally whenever wherever we encounter, therefore the drill is very important for us to find the areas to improve, as well as testing the related equipment and system.

The fire drill is conducted in the afternoon. The fire detector being activated by security personnel.

Central Control Room notified Front Desk team immediately when receiving the fire system signal, then Front Desk team reported this emergency to the ERT, Emergency Response Team which formed by Duty Front Desk clerk, Duty Security, and Duty Engineering.

ERT all ran to the point within 5 mins to check and confirm the situation. If the fire is confirmed, the FFT, Fire Fighting Team led by the Security Manager and assisted by the Director of Engineering, will be informed for them to rush to the spot with the fire fighting gear to put out the fire. 

If FFT felt the fire can’t be controlled after fire fought, they will inform the Leader of Emergency Handling Team, GM in this case. GM then will give the order to activate the Evacuation Procedure, for CCTV team to call 119 while our team and guests to evacuate to the safe point outdoor.

We can see our colleagues evacuated promptly and calmly through the stairs and fire exit when they heard the broadcasting.

All attended employees gathered at the West Square of Fortune Shopping Mall in order, reported numbers and took care of the equipment and important files. When this Drill was done, management team and observers had the debriefing to share the areas where we will need to do better next time.

With everyone's efforts and participation, we completed this Fire Drill successfully. Millennium Residences always treats safety as our top priority and that’s why we ensure to have the fire drill practiced twice a year to further strengthen and consolidate the fire fighting ability of all employees, in order to provide a most safe and comfortable living and working environment to our guests and colleagues.
