ONE COMMUNITY BEIJING# Yue·Pets | Pet Ambassador "Digua" and Her Mum's Life "Adventures"
At this year's One Community·Family Market, nine-month-old schnauzer Digua was named ONE COMMUNITY's Pet Ambassador. Everyone was curious about who her owner was and what kind of life they shared. With these questions in mind, we sat down with Digua's mum for a delightful chat.
## Digua's Road to Stardom
Digua is a nine-month-old salt-and-pepper schnauzer. Her name comes from Mum's job at a major internet company, where valued employees are called *dixi*, or the "inner circle." "Digua is our most cherished little one, so I chose *di* and added *gua* because it sounded cute."
When Digua was named the Star Pet Ambassador, Mum joked, "My tiger parenting paid off! I thought it was just a mum's bias, but my girl really is ready for her debut."
Digua enjoys a relaxed and regular routine. Mornings are spent sunbathing and bird-watching by the floor-to-ceiling window, while the pet park downstairs is her most anticipated destination every day.
## Digua's Fixed Social Time — Paw Patrol Assembly
At 7 p.m. sharp, Digua sits by the door, tail wagging nonstop — it's Paw Patrol time.
"Our Paw Patrol group has over 20 pet-owning households, and at least five or six dogs meet for a walk each evening." Digua is the keenest of them all: at the word "walk," she races to the door, waiting to put on her harness.
The pet park is Digua's social hub, and running and rolling around there in the evening is a non-negotiable part of her schedule. As the dogs romp together, their owners chat nearby. "The pets keep each other company, and we have become friends too. We even camp together with our 'kids!'"
When it comes to the community's pet environment, what moves Mum most is peace of mind. "Digua can run freely and safely right downstairs." There is also an outlet village and several pet-friendly parks nearby, so she often takes Digua out on weekends.
## Digua, the Community Darling with Great Popularity
At ONE COMMUNITY, Digua turns heads wherever she goes.
The reception staff crouch down every day to pat her head and say, "Looking beautiful again today" — it has become a专属 homecoming ritual. Security guards wave and greet her from afar, and children are her biggest fans, crowding around for cuddles while Digua happily tilts her head to soak up the attention.
Once, an international neighbour asked in hesitant Chinese, "Is this…the Star Pet Ambassador?" It was then that Mum realised her furry baby had become a community celebrity. These small, warm moments make her feel that this is more than just a place to live — it is a home that truly welcomes both her and her pet.
## Choosing ONE COMMUNITY Was No Coincidence
"Internet professionals work late, and commuting is the biggest drain. I had my eye on ONE COMMUNITY as soon as it was built — it's right across from my office, and Cuigezhuang Station on Line 15 is downstairs, just a two-minute walk away." After moving in, Mum knew she had made the right call.
"I can wake up five minutes before work and reach my desk in a minute if I run." The time and energy saved on commuting are now devoted to life and to Digua.
## A Sports and Social Scene for Pet Mums
No matter how busy work gets, Mum stays active. At the nearly 3,000-square-metre One Fitness, gym equipment, a heated pool, and sports courts are all available. It has also become a "social base for pet mums" — they sign up for yoga classes together, relax in the sauna afterward, and swap pet-care tips along the way.
"We tried boxing last week and have yoga this Saturday. Professional coaches lead free classes, and one message in the group chat is all it takes to get everyone together." Exercise used to feel lonely, but now it has turned into a group gathering — building both fitness and friendships.
## When Neighbours Become Friends
"We make dumplings at the Winter Solstice, chocolate and gingerbread houses at Christmas, and enjoy wine tastings and flower arranging in spring. Every season brings something different." As neighbours gradually get to know each other, the community takes on the warmth of a big family.
When asked what stands out most, Mum says, "It's the attentiveness of the staff. We receive housekeeping service twice a week, bedding can be changed, and all the activities and facilities are well taken care of. Their care lets us truly relax."

## In Closing
For pet owners, a truly pet-friendly community is not simply one that allows pets — it offers furry companions a dedicated park to run freely, gives owners the ease of walking them anytime, lets pets make their own friends downstairs, and makes every family member look forward to one "adventure" after another.
ONE COMMUNITY has built an ideal ecosystem for people and pets to live together: from the pet park to the Paw Patrol group, from the One Community·Family Market to every thoughtful detail designed with furry companions in mind. As Digua grew from a beloved pup to the Star Pet Ambassador, her mum also rediscovered life's natural rhythm through walks, exercise, and time spent with neighbours.
